17th August 2020 by The Wandering QuinnDay trip to London & afternoon tea on the River Thames
London is full of unique things to do and did you know you can go for a classic British afternoon tea on the River Thames? It doesn't get more iconic than that! I went out with City Cruises for their Afternoon Tea cruise which I loved. They kept us socially distanced which was needed in August 2020 and I loved the huge bright windows on the boat. After we ate we got to go on top of the boat and see the sights from there! It's super touristy but I loved it! I also walked along the River...

8th November 2019 by Twins that TravelA luxury stay at the Kensington, London
As rain threatened to fall from the dark autumnal sky, we ran from South Kensington station and down streets lined with handsome white houses and tall black gates. Dodging piles of leaves and dark, muddy puddles, we turned onto Queen’s Gate just as the heavens opened; the glowing windows of The Kensington Hotel welcoming us. Our new home for just one night, we hurried up the steps of the beautiful building, smiling as a porter with a black bowler hat greeted us....
